I am trying to build advanced search forms. I was hoping somebody might be able to help me out. When building the forms I find that needed elements (bundles) are missing. For example I want to search for objects by lot and/or collection. I can search for collections and lots - but going to the contents of those tables is tedious if you want to change one item in all the records. What I want is to have a found set of all objects in the local navigation bar so I can scroll through each record.

Is there a way to bind elements to a search of a table?

You will need to change your search_indexing.conf file to index the fields in the related tables you want to search. Some of these are available in the default configuration (eg. the displayname field for entities) and some aren't.

Of course you could also just use the browse for this, which is (arguably) more convenient.
