Exporting Sub-Elements, Can It Be Done?

I've figured out how to export metadata elements, but not their sub-elements.  When I create a display, the sub-elements don't appear to be in the list of available information.
Does anybody know if sub-elements can be exported?

Thank you all.

  • Yes, this is possible. It requires writing a display template to get at the particular sub-element you want. You would drag the bundle for the Container itself into the display, then open it for editing using the info "i" icon. You'll see a window open with several options including a field for "Display Format".

At it's simplest, the syntax would be ^ca_table.container_element_code.sub_element_code. As in:

    ^ca_objects.dimensions.width

The templates can get much more complex however. Full documentation on display templates can be found here:
