Pawtucket2 SerchControler.php throws a warning when trying to browse the timeline PHP 7.1

edited September 14 in Troubleshooting
Hi!

I get a:

Warning: A non-numeric value encountered in H:\xampp\htdocs\providance17\pawtucket2\app\controllers\SearchController.php on line 382

When I try to view
my serchresult in the timeline on a Windows 2012 system. The timeline is frozen
in the loading position.

This is the line
that fails:

if (($vn_key_start = $vn_start - 5000) < 0) { $vn_key_start = 0; }

If I change it to:

 $vn_key_start = 0;

Everything works
but I don’t know if I break something else...

The problem seems
to be in the  $vn_start parameter that is
assigned a couple of rows above:

                      $this->view->setVar('start',
$vn_start = $this->request->getParameter('s', pInteger));

But I don’t know why
this should fail on a windows 2012 machine

I have a copy of
the same system running perfectly on a Ubuntu without having to change the row.

Any ide what’s
going on?
